Meet our team!

The staff at Bethlehem would love to spend time with you!

Send us an email, give us a call,

we are partners on this journey together!

Pastor Amy Eisenmann
Lead Pastor

My name is Pastor Amy Eisenmann and I have been on staff since January 2020.   My last call was in Thompson, North Dakota where I served at Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church. My current focus here at Bethlehem is building up our Youth and Education programs.  I enjoy working with all age groups, and am looking forward to building in some more intergenerational happenings as we come back together post-pandemic.  My immediate family is my West Highland Terrier named Buhla.  The rest of my family lives up in the Twin Cities.  I have one brother who has four kids, and spending time with my nieces and nephews is my favorite thing to do.  I am super excited to have two of them in Iowa now!  I also enjoy playing guitar, writing poetry, reading, and sharing a cup of coffee or tea with friends.  I would love to know what you love to do, and hear about your family.  Let's set up a time to get together in person or virtually!

Deb Estrem

Administrative Assistant

Hi, I am Deb Estrem and I’m the new Administrative Assistant with Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Looking forward to being a blessing to all!
Born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, life’s path has taken me to Wisconsin where I owned a dairy farm, to Minnesota where I got a taste of the Twin Cities, back to Iowa where I managed a Christmas tree farm and was the office coordinator at my church in Decorah, Iowa.
My son Daniel lives in Minnesota, and owns a dairy farm. He raises Holsteins and Jerseys. I have a one grandson and a granddaughter on the way.
My stress relievers are fishing, painting murals, gardening and digging ponds. Love to hear the frogs sing in the spring, and when the fishing gets slow, I paint the scenery. Life is good!

Hudson Lourenço
Organist

My name is Hudson Lourenço and I am a Brazilian native from São Paulo. I studied my bachelor's degree in organ at The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Followed by my master’s degree at The University of Iowa, from where I graduated in May 2019. After my graduation, I moved to Marshalltown, where I happily live with my husband, Joe Feld.  Biking around and cooking are things that I like to do the most.   I became part of the team Bethlehem as a substitute organist in November 2019. Then the official organist in January 2020.  Besides Bethlehem, I am also the organist for the First Congregational United Church of Christ of Waterloo, and Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. I also work as the pianist accompanist for the Vocal Departments of the Marshalltown High School and West High School in Waterloo.  I feel blessed to be part of this lovely family called Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Cedar Falls.

Leah Gibbons

I’m excited to make music at Bethlehem! Previously, I was the pianist for two churches near my hometown, so I am looking forward to working with a church choir. If you want to join the choir, feel free to reach out! In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing piano, spending time with friends, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
