The second reading for this coming Sunday is from Ephesians 1:3-14. It is the introduction to the letter to the Christians at Ephesus. The thing that struck me about this text, is that the phrase "in Christ" or "in him" or "through Jesus or the Beloved" appears 11 times. That's 11 times in 12 verses. That's a lot. It must mean something important.

Monday – Recognizing Hunger. Students will study Matthew 25:31-45, learn the connection between following Jesus and showing love for neighbors, and gain visual images of how many people on the planet are hungry.
